Survivor Screening

Survivor Screening

On Tuesday 22nd April, the Lemon Soul film – Survivor — was screened at Parliament Square, London, as part of Yom Shoah commemorations. The event was attended by a live audience of 3,000 people, with a further 4,000 viewing from home. Among those present were the film’s director, Zoom Rockman; its subject, Ivor Perl BEM; the Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper; Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis; Lord Dubs; Lord Levy; and Karen Pollock, CEO of the Holocaust Educational Trust.

It was a profoundly moving occasion, and we hope it serves as a lasting reminder of the importance of Holocaust education and remembrance. Survivor is a powerful visual retelling of Ivor Perl’s experiences during the Holocaust.

With heartfelt thanks to Ivor for sharing his story.
