Mike Levy MBE has revealed the remarkable story behind his forthcoming Lemon Soul book, The Lost Partisan.
The story began with a small collection of mystery family photographs and Mike’s determination to discover the identities of the people pictured. His search eventually led him to uncover the story of Abraham Bublacki, a long-lost cousin of Mike’s wife, Sheila.
Mike’s research revealed Abraham’s extraordinary story. After escaping the massacre of Jews in Slonim, he joined the Jewish partisans and fought the Nazis from the surrounding forests.
The Lost Partisan will follow Mike’s journey of discovery and tell the story of Abraham and the Jewish resistance fighters of Slonim.
The Lost Partisan by Mike Levy MBE will be published by Lemon Soul in 2027.
