About The Ivor Perl BEM Holocaust Education Course

The Ivor Perl BEM Teaching Programme has been developed to be used in all secondary schools across the UK.

The intention is that Ivor’s first hand testimony, ‘Chicken Soup Under the Tree’ becomes a set text as part of the national curriculum.

We would like all young people in the UK to have seen either the full or short version of Ivor’s award winning animated film, SURVIVOR.

We would like Ivor’s testimony to be remembered every year as part of UK Holocaust Memorial Day activities.

We would like Ivor Perl BEM’s Teaching Programme to be the main teaching resource in the UK when discussing antisemitism and the impact of religious hatred in the classroom.
