About The Ivor Perl BEM Holocaust Education Course

The Ivor Perl BEM Holocaust Education Course has been developed for use in secondary schools across the UK alongside Ivor Perl BEM’s book, Chicken Soup Under the Tree, and the award-winning animated film it inspired, SURVIVOR, currently streaming in the UK on ITVX.

It includes specially crafted guidance for lessons by leading Holocaust educator Laurie Rosenberg and covers a wide range of cross-curricular activities and topics for thoughtful classroom discussion.

We set out to design a new and innovative way of teaching the Holocaust to future generations. This course is the result of three years of research and development.
